Ooohhhh That Glow Baby!

There have been many times I am asked about my skin care routine. I honestly don’t have a certain line that I stick to. I am lucky enough to have skin that allows me to try and use various skincare lines and not have too bad of a reaction, if any. I have oily skin. It was much oiler when I was younger, but it still has its own shine going on. I use to hate my oily skin but now I love it. I love it because it helps me to stay looking youthful and it keeps my skin supple.

I will walk you through my night time skin routine.

Cleansing

No matter what I am using to cleanse my skin, I use something that is not too harsh. I don’t want to dry my face out. Since I have oily skin, I stay away from cleansing oils. I use facial soap or gel cleanser (I currently am using Jacq’s facial soap bar or No. 35 Facial Cleanser.). I use warm to hot water to moisten my face. Then I use my hands to wash my face for at least 7-10 seconds. Sometimes I use a facial brush like this one ⤵️

I make sure to rinse off all of the soap 🧼. Leaving soap behind can clog pores and dry out the skin.

Exfoliation

After rinsing the cleanser off, I pat my skin dry. I then use AVON ANEW Clinical Retexturizing Peel. It is a safe and gentle chemical peel that can be used every other day. I cover my face, jawline, and neck with this peel. I believe this helps my skin to remain smooth. I let that dry as it is not to be rinsed off.

Post Cleansing

Then I choose one of my face sheet masks. I have over 25 masks to choose from. Depending on what I feel my skin might need, will sway my decision in picking a mask.

After picking my mask, I’ll place it on my skin making sure to smooth it over my skin. It usually doesn’t cover the edges of my cheeks or forehead. Because of this, I take some of the solution the mask was soaked in and smooth it over those areas. I let the mask rest for at least 15 minutes. I try to leave it for 20-25 minutes.

While my mask is resting, I sometimes enjoy a nice glass of wine. My new favorite wine is Moscato.

After about 20 minutes, I remove the mask. Whatever solution that isn’t absorbed, I rub in and massage my skin until my face is practically dry. My skin looks AMAZING after the mask. What do you think?

Final Step

After removing my mask and finishing that step, I use two different serums on my skin. Both of them are from AVON. The first one is AVON ANEW vitamin C brightening serum and the next one is AVON ANEW neutralizing anti-pollution serum.

The vitamin C serum helps to balance out my skin tone and brighten dark spots. The anti-pollution serum contains green tea extract, which helps to absorb all the nasties my skin comes in contact with.

Then I use AVON ANEW Clinical Eye Lift dual eye system. It has two different sections – gel and cream. The gel is for the upper lids and the cream is for the lower lids. This helps keep the delicate skin of the eye remain supple, moisturized, and helps to reduce wrinkles.

And there you have it! My simple yet effective night time skin routine.

What do you use to keep your skin looking its best?
